Privacy policy, marketplace rules, and app-specific terms for customers and partners in India.
Welcome to KaamEasy. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of our website at https://kaameasy.in, the KaamEasy Customer app, and the KaamEasy Partner app. By registering, accessing, or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use KaamEasy. Permanent staffing / hiring (drivers & domestic staff): additional rules apply — see Permanent Hiring & Staffing Terms.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using KaamEasy as a customer, partner, driver, or professional, you enter a legal agreement with the platform operator on the terms below. We may refuse service or close types of access where required by law or risk policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter a binding contract in India (typically 18 years or older). You must provide accurate registration information. KaamEasy is not directed at minors; accounts suspected to belong to children may be suspended (see our Privacy Policy).
3. Nature of the service
KaamEasy operates an online marketplace / intermediary platform that connects customers seeking services (including driver hire and home services) with independent partners who provide those services. We do not directly employ partners for every booking and are not the direct provider of on-road transportation or home services unless expressly stated in writing for a specific programme. Contracts for the actual service exist between the customer and the partner; KaamEasy provides technology, booking flow, communications tools, and (where applicable) payment facilitation.
4. Accounts & security
- You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One person should not share a partner account; impersonation or credential sharing may lead to suspension.
5. Bookings & cancellations
Bookings are created through the website or apps according to the flows shown at the time of booking. Cancellation rules, charges, and no-show handling are described in our Cancellation Policy and may be updated; the version linked from the site at the time of booking generally applies together with any in-app notices. Repeated cancellations or abuse of the platform may result in account restrictions.
6. Payments & fees
Depending on the service and settings, payment may be cash to the partner, online through our payment partner (e.g. Razorpay), wallet / credit balance, or other methods we enable. Platform fees, commissions, incentives, and settlement timelines for partners are shown in the Partner app or separate partner communications and may change with reasonable notice where required.
UPI / third-party apps: if we display UPI IDs, QR codes, or deep links, payments made through your banking or UPI app are subject to your bank's and that app's terms; reconciliation may require reference numbers or admin verification as described in-product.
Refund rules, where they apply, are set out in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
7. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup / service locations, contact details, and booking information.
- Treat partners respectfully and comply with safety instructions and applicable traffic or premises rules.
- Use OTP / verification flows honestly; do not misuse ratings, support, or promotions.
8. Partners, drivers & professionals
Partners must complete verification and receive approval where required. We may suspend or remove accounts for misconduct, fraud, falsified documents, safety incidents, or breach of the Partner / driver agreement or these Terms. Partners are responsible for licences, insurance, taxes, and compliance with local laws applicable to their work.
9. Intellectual property
KaamEasy names, logos, branding, software, and content on the platform are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse them except as allowed by law or with our written consent.
10. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. KaamEasy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform or any dispute between users. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the platform in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid to KaamEasy in fees specifically for platform services (excluding pass-through fares paid to partners) in that period, or INR 5,000, whichever is greater — except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited).

11. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless KaamEasy and its operator against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or your violation of third-party rights or applicable law.
12. Privacy
Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy. By using KaamEasy, you acknowledge that certain information must be shared between customers and partners to fulfil bookings.
13. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access to any account that violates these Terms, poses security or fraud risk, or is required by law. You may stop using the platform at any time; provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.
14. Changes
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For material changes we may provide additional notice (e.g. email or in-app message). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires explicit consent.
15. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protection forums, courts at competent venues in India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the platform; you and we may also use alternative dispute resolution where agreed in writing.
16. KaamEasy Partner app addendum
Use of the KaamEasy Partner mobile app is subject to these Terms and the following:
- Independent contractor: you acknowledge that you provide services as an independent partner; KaamEasy is a technology platform that connects you with customers.
- Commission & wallet: platform commission, wallet rules, cash-trip commission due, online/wallet settlements, and withdrawals are as shown in the app and admin-approved policies. You agree to pay any commission or fees owed on completed trips or jobs.
- Trip / job conduct: you must use OTP or other verification flows honestly, complete jobs in good faith, and confirm cash collection in the app when applicable so customers can rate fairly and ledgers stay accurate.
- Cancellation: driver- or partner-initiated cancellation requests may require admin review; misuse or repeated violations may lead to penalties as described in platform rules.
- Account & device: you are responsible for securing your login. You must not share your account, manipulate GPS, bookings, ratings, or incentives in a fraudulent manner.
Continued use of the Partner app after updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms for mobile use.
